Luisa: Hi. I’m Luisa and I had rhinoplasty with Dr. Nassif. It’s been about three weeks since my surgery and I’m still trying to fight my cold off but other than that I’m happy with the results. The last three or four days I’ve been sneezing a lot because of my cold so that kind of put a little pressure on my nose and yesterday it was kind of like swollen. It kind of feels a little sore because of all the sneezing. But something I never felt, not even after surgery, I never felt my nose sore I never felt any pain.
I’m happy. Every day I look to see any kind of new result any little more definition in my appearance and every day I see a little bit more which brings my hopes up. For me it’s just a new experience, every day it’s something new that I see in myself. Right now I’m happy with the result and I continue to expect, not expect, but pray that everything continues to keep going as it is now. And I’m happy with the results and I’ve had a very supportive family that they’ve all been there for me and that helps a lot. In this process you have to have people that are supportive and they help you and you know they’re basically there holding your hand you know reassuring you that everything is going to be ok.
My children have been really great in this experience. They had nothing but positive to say, they’ve been encouraging; they really like Dr. Nassif because you know of just the kind of person he is. Really down to earth, really caring, I felt like he was an artist who has a gift to help people. Help people in ways that many of us out there have needed that help in some way, shape or form. And for me this is something that makes me feel better and he also fixed my, which I forgot to mention, he fixed my deviated septum and the obstruction I had on this side of my nose.
Let me tell you, my daughters, I’ve never snored and they said I kind of snored lightly, barely. But they said that they haven’t since my surgery, they haven’t heard not one peep. And I’m happy to hear that because I was kind of shocked when they tried to tell me that I snore which I know I don’t because I’m a quiet sleeper. My husband tells me that he has to lean over to see if I’m breathing because I’ve never been to the type to snore. But with the obstruction and just what happened with the left side of my nose it just caused me to lightly snore so I’ve heard. Not that I believe it but so I’ve heard. And I just look forward to the changes that are coming little by little.
Hopefully all the sneezing hasn’t harmed my nose in any way because I kind of feel sore and I’ve never felt it sore like I said before I’ve never felt it sore after my surgery so for me to start feeling a little sore inside it’s kind of odd. But it’s been three weeks and so far I’m excited still and I’m looking forward to the next day and the next and the next.
