Hi there. It’s Sunday, day 13. So, almost two weeks after my surgery, which is the really weird thing about is these two weeks moved by really quickly. But, yeah, it’s Sunday, and I feel great. I feel like I’m recovering and I feel like my nose is getting smaller every day. And everybody says that I should notice that it gets smaller and more like it should look every week, which is nice to know. So, hopefully, next week, it will look like what it’s actually going to look like.
Right now, you can see my profile, kind of, isn’t very defined. I don’t know, beforehand, there was a dip here, but now the bone here or the skin here is swollen. So, it’s further up than I’d like it to be. I’m hoping that it will go down and my nose will be straight instead of kind of like this. And the tip looks great I think. It should move down a little and get straighter here, I’m hoping ‘cause that’s what my tip looked like before and they said they didn’t change the look of the tip. They just added cartilage in there ‘cause there was none in there before.
But, yeah, I want the swelling around here to go down so I can really see what my nose looks like ‘cause this is not a correct representation whatsoever. But, yeah… So, tonight, well, I start school tomorrow, and tonight I’m going to take the bandage off just I don’t have to go to school with the bandage on ‘cause I already went to orientation for my school with the bandage on. And a few people were asking me what happened and it was kind of…I was kind of getting tired of telling everyone the story of what happened. So, I know it will be swollen and I might look a little ridiculous for the first week or two, but everybody says the swelling should go down. So…yeah.
