Luisa: Today is a month and 18 days since my surgery. As you can tell the swelling has gone down even more, which I didn’t think it could go down anymore than it already did. I feel good, I mean I breathe good. I mean other than my allergies acting up because of the season I feel pretty good. I’m happier about my appearance I feel pretty good.I’m starting to have more definition in this area my children notice it more. I feel where I had my nose obstruction which was 80% obstructed, I feel as though I’m able to breathe a lot better. I was kind of like, wasn’t really sure if I could lay flat or if I still had to be elevated so just to be on the safe side I elevate myself with at least two pillows just to be on the safe side. I mean I do have just when I cover myself at night sometimes when I’m fluffing up the blankets the blanket lightly touches my nose and it’s a highly sensitive area right now.
Other than that I just don’t have any pain, I don’t have any discomfort other than when the blanket bumped me and that’s a very light blanket so it’s just really sensitive. I take care of myself; I haven’t been working out because I’m not supposed to yet. I’m just taking it easy; every day I just try to eat the right foods and drink a lot of water and just to get myself stronger.
If you can see, you can see that there’s more definition and the nostril area is not so wide anymore so I’m happier about it. And my children say that it looks great. I mean I had a lot of comments of family a lot of good comments that they all think that I look really great. Other than that I’ve had positive feedback on my surgery and how I look and I’m just really happy about the results and right now I’m just really happy about it. I mean I feel great today so today is a good day.
